April Features to benefit The Ostara Initiative

***With your help, we raised a total of $1,613.48 for the Wisconsin Birth Project through Ostara Initiative. Ostara Initiative exists to provide critical resources to pregnant, incarcerated people and mothers under conditions of correctional confinement.  This includes but is not limited to: 1.) providing prenatal and parenting group education and support; 2.) one-on-one support from a trained doula before, during, and after birth; 3.) offering one-on-one counseling sessions so incarcerated parents can learn to cope with stress and separation as well as strengthen relationships with their children; 4.) and supplying other necessary resources to nurture relationships and prepare parents to reunify with their children. The Ostara Initiative is a women-founded and women-led, hybrid, non-profit organization based in Minnesota and Alabama seeking to collectively transform systems by reimagining justice, advancing health, and reclaiming dignity in policies and practices for all pregnant and parenting people.
