What's Brewing?

April Features

With your help, we raised a total of $1,613.48 for the Wisconsin Birth Project through Ostara Initiative. Ostara Initiative exists to provide critical resources to pregnant, incarcerated people and mothers under conditions of correctional confinement.  This includes but is not limited to: 1.) providing prenatal and parenting group education and support; 2.) one-on-one support from a trained doula before, during, and after birth; 3.) offering one-on-one counseling sessions so incarcerated parents can learn to cope with stress and separation as well as strengthen relationships with their children; 4.) and supplying other necessary resources to nurture relationships and prepare parents to reunify with their children. Thank you! <3

May Features

We've got a crowd favorite making a return this month on the food menu. Sink your teeth into those Chilaquiles Verdes to finally feel something again. We still have the Friday Fish Tacos available, of course. And behind the bar, we've also have a couple of familiar faces from last year: Paloma Espresso Tonic, Horchata de Mango, and a newbie, the Topo Chico Preparado.  Check out the menu to learn more about these guys. Every purchase of a featured item this month benefits the Voces de la Frontera DACA Scholarship Fund. To learn more or to donate directly, click here.

Your friendly neighborhood Microroaster

One of the many cool things to happen  in 2024 is our (finally) operating Bellwether Roaster. Standing just over 6' tall, this pretty lady is handling all of our roasting operations IN HOUSE!

We're so excited to be partnering with Bellwether on this new chapter of our business. A fully electric, completely ventless design, this roaster helps to eliminated eliminate billions of pounds of CO2e in the coffee roasting process.

There's much more to come with this awesome news so stay tuned! <3

Special Hours & Events

There's many ways you can keep up with any special hours or events we've got going on throughout the month at the shop. This page along with our google listing and social medias are great ways to stay in the loop of any business happenings :)

Drop Down Car Show

Saturday May 3 our friends from Drop Down Car Club will be hosting a Cars & Coffee in the La Finca Parking Lot from 7am-11am. Free event for all ages and we'll be featuring a special drink to celebrate their first show with us!

Story Time Sessions

We are so very thrilled to be partnering with David Emmanuelle Castillo from We Will All Rise to host monthly Read Aloud Sessions.

We Will All Rise's "I Can Teach" is a teacher residency program for Black and Brown boys ages 18-24. The areas of focus for the program are workforce development, diversity & representation to mitigate inequities in Early Childhood Education (ECE), and encouraging teaching as a viable career option.

Join us on Saturday once a month for one of two sessions available (2pm or 3:30pm). Children and their parents will work on dialogical reading as well as other ECE competencies. Sessions will be led by David as well as program fellows, and you can learn more about the program here!
