It's a part of our Brews & Roots pop up series where we invite one local maker to join us for FREE so you can meet the makers behind the craft and support LOCAL <3

February Support for Sojourner Family Peace Center!
Wisconsin winter is in full swing, exploding trees and all. This month, our features will benefit the Sojourner Family Peace Center. Sojourner Family Peace Center is the largest nonprofit provider of domestic violence prevention and intervention services in Wisconsin, ensuring the safety of victims of family violence and providing a pathway out of violence for victims and abusers through opportunities to make positive and lasting changes for themselves and their children. These refreshers are perfect for when you want a little afternoon boost without the full commitment of a coffee or espresso drink. Each Midday Margarita contains low to zero caffeine. February 07 we're hanging out with our pals at Divine Savior Holy Angels for their annual Sipply Divine sip-and-taste event. We'll be handing our free samples alongside other fantastic local food and drink vendors. We're so happy to be joining them again this year a look forward to a fun night! Blind Date with a Book is back! our amazing friends at La Revo Books are blessing us with the second installment of a Blind Date with a Book. Purchase a mystery book from their curated selection for us in the cafe and get a beverage of your choice from our Valentine's Day menu to enjoy your blind date with your new book! It's a great way to find something new and enjoy from a selection of books in English, Spanish, Bilingual, and other languages!
Blind Dates start Feb 08 and run through Feb 15!
February 21 we are joining the Urban Ecology Center in their ninth annual Urban Candlelight Hike. We'll be sharing some hot chocolate to keep you warm while you wander along glowing, candlelit trails that guide you through the serene, snow-covered beauty of the Menomonee Valley. One of the many cool things to happen in 2024 is our Bellwether Roaster. Standing just over 6' tall, this pretty lady is handling all of our roasting operations IN HOUSE!
We're so excited to be partnering with Bellwether on this new chapter of our business. A fully electric, completely ventless design, this roaster helps to eliminated eliminate billions of pounds of CO2e in the coffee roasting process.
Direct Trade Coffee has been central to our mission since day one, aiming to directly impact the producers with our purchases. Bellwether shares this mission, connecting roasters to producers directly, establishing and nurturing relationships across borders.
